Overview
Feed Management has two parts: Feed Schedules (templates for daily rations) and Feed Records (actual feed given on a specific day).
Schedules define what to feed each animal – dry fodder, green fodder, concentrate, mineral mix – with quantities and costs. You can auto-generate today’s feed records from a schedule with one click.
How It Works
- Go to Dairy → Feed Management. Create a schedule per animal, then use “Generate Today’s Records” to create daily entries automatically.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Go to Feed Management → Feed Schedules and create a schedule for an animal.
- Add feed lines: type (e.g. Concentrate), name (e.g. TMR mix), quantity per day, cost per kg, and session (morning/evening).
- Each day, click Generate Today’s Records on the schedule – or manually create Feed Records.
- For manual entry, go to Feed Records → Create, select animal, feed type, quantity, and session.
