Overview
This chapter shows how every part of the Dairy app connects in a real working day. Understanding the full journey helps new staff see why each step matters.
How It Works
Step 1 – Morning Collection (6:00 AM)
Collection van visits farmers. Staff record milk using Quick Milk (Barcode) or Milk Collection. Fat and SNF are measured. Payment is auto-calculated.
Step 2 – Quality Check (7:00 AM)
Lab tests samples. Quality Tests grade milk A/B/C or Reject. Pass → collection marked Done. Fail → milk rejected, farmer not paid.
Step 3 – Processing (9:00 AM)
Accepted milk goes into a Processing Batch. Raw inputs link to collection entries. Milk is pasteurized, homogenized, or churned into products.
Step 4 – Packaging & QC (11:00 AM)
Finished goods output lines are entered with lot numbers. Batch passes QC and is marked Done – stock is auto-added to inventory.
Step 5 – Cold Storage (12:00 PM)
Products move to Cold Room via stock movement or processing batch storage location. Stock Summary shows quantities on hand.
Step 6 – Dispatch (4:00 PM)
Stock Out movements record products sent to shops. Near-expiry items are flagged 3 days before expiry.
Step 7 – End of Day
Dashboard shows today’s totals. Manager reviews Farmer Pending Payments and Wastage if any losses occurred.
