Use filtered shortcut menus to see only today’s milk collections or processing batches – without scrolling through old records.
Overview
During busy shifts, you do not need the full history list. The app provides two shortcut menus that show only today’s records:
- Today’s Collection – all milk collected today (morning and evening)
- Today’s Processing – all processing batches started or completed today
These are the same records as the main lists, just filtered to today’s date for faster daily work.
How It Works
- Today’s Collection: Dairy → Operations → Today’s Collection
- Today’s Processing: Dairy → Processing → Today’s Processing
- Use these at shift change to review what has been entered, spot missing farmers, and confirm processing progress.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Morning shift end: Open Today’s Collection and verify all route farmers have a morning entry.
- Evening shift end: Open again and check evening entries are complete.
- Processing floor: Open Today’s Processing to see batches in progress or completed today.
- Click any row to open and edit if corrections are needed.
- Compare totals with the Dashboard KPI numbers.

Tips
- Use at shift handover: The outgoing supervisor opens Today’s Collection and confirms all entries before the next shift begins.
- Cross-check with Dashboard: Today’s milk total on the Dashboard should match the sum of Today’s Collection entries.
Common Mistakes
- Looking at the full list instead – The main Milk Collection menu shows all dates; use Today’s Collection for daily review.
- Wrong date on entries – Records with yesterday’s date will not appear in today’s shortcut.
