Weight Tracking

Updated 16 June 2026

Add weight entries, see BMI, trends, and get alerts for health concerns.

Overview

Healthy weight is a cornerstone of long life. Weight Tracking logs each measurement with the method used (e.g., scale), then calculates BMI, percentage change from the prior entry, and trend direction/strength. These signals highlight when action is needed—like adjusting diet or scheduling a check‑up.

The latest weight flows back to the pet profile for quick reference, while alerts surface unusual gains or losses before they become serious issues.

  • Objective metrics: BMI, deltas, and trends reveal real progress.
  • Early warnings: Automatic flags for concerning changes.
  • Linked care: Use results to tune diet plans or book medical reviews.

How It Works

  • Add entries from the pet’s Weight & Health tab or Health › Weight History.
  • The latest weight shows in the pet profile.
  • Trends and alerts help spot issues early.

Step-by-Step Guide

  • Go to Pets › Health › Weight History.
  • Click New, choose the pet, date, and weight.
  • Pick measurement method and add notes if needed.
  • Review trend and alert messages.
