Pro Dashboard

Updated 10 July 2026

A single workspace under Accounting that highlights what needs attention: overdue balances, risky customers, fees, and cash going in or out.

Overview

Open Accounting → Pro Dashboard. You will see numeric tiles (such as unpaid totals, high-risk exposure, reminders due), management widgets (cash due this week, payables aging, revenue this month vs last month), and charts. Many tiles open a filtered list of invoices or payments when you click them.

How it works

The dashboard reads live accounting data. Some numbers use standard Odoo fields (amount due, due date). Others use Accounting Pro fields – for example “high-risk unpaid” needs Risk level filled on invoices, and “bank KYC expired” counts partner bank records whose KYC status is Expired.

Step-by-step guide

Fields table

The dashboard screen itself has no “save” fields; it displays calculated values. Below are the main figures users ask about and what feeds them.

Field explanations

Each item below matches one row in the table above, in the same order.

Unpaid / outstanding totals

Adds up residual amounts on posted customer and vendor documents that are still not fully paid. It answers “how much cash is still in play” across AR and AP.

High-risk unpaid

Filters the same open balances to invoices where Risk level is High or Blocked. If nobody set risk on invoices, this tile may look empty even though debt exists.

Overdue count

Counts posted, unpaid documents whose due date is before today. Internally it relies on the same rules as the Days overdue field (positive when past due).

In reminder scope

Counts open invoices that are allowed in your reminder process: posted, not fully paid, and not ticked “exclude from auto-reminders.” Use it to see how many documents your dunning job would touch.

Payments in range

Counts and sums payments posted between the dashboard’s date-from and date-to. Change the range when you want month-to-date behaviour instead of last 30 days.

Total fees

Sums Bank fees plus PSP fees on payments inside the selected range (only when those fields exist because Fees & FX is enabled). It shows the extra cost of moving money, not only principal.

Bank KYC expired

Counts partner bank records whose KYC status is Expired. Use it as a hygiene metric before pay runs or audits.

Receivables / payables aging

Splits still-due customer balances (and often supplier balances in companion widgets) into 0–30, 31–60, 61–90, and 90+ day buckets from the due date. Helps collections and cash forecasting.

Revenue this month vs last

Compares paid (or in-payment) invoice totals between the current calendar month and the previous month for a quick growth pulse check.

Related stored fields (on invoices) – Days overdue is calculated on each invoice: posted, not fully paid, with a due date; positive means late. In reminder scope is true when the same invoice is eligible for reminders (not excluded). Charts and tiles use these signals behind the scenes.
